This category offers several items based on essential thematics of the world of ongoing globalisations, such as : Sustainable Development, Water, Poverty, War and Peace, Global Governance, Migrations, Health, Education, WTO, Free Trade Areas, World Fora, Humanitarian / Solidarity, Sex and gender, ICT, etc. These items are made of files listed as "In the Press", "Non-Press" or "Documents". The In the Press files are a selection of articles on the chosen theme, accessible online in the site's five languages from the most diverse international mediatic sources. The Non-Press documents are texts of very different natures and formats (from an academic paper to a government declaration or an op-ed), chosen for their pertinence and written by members of the GERM network or of any other body.

Report on inequality in Europe: Tax harmonisation is the key to curb inequality

The World Inequality Lab has just released an unpublished report measuring the development of inequality in Europe and the United States since 1980. Entitled Has the European social model withstood the rise in inequality?, the report is the first to analyse income disparities before and after tax over such a long period, for all European countries.
