The project of a « Universal Declaration of Democracy » was initiated in 2012 by Federico Mayor and Karel Vašák. It was presented to the Council of Europe on 8th October 2012, signed and supported by numerous personalities and civil society members. GERM, fully involved in this initiative, is responsible for collecting your Comments and suggestions (which we ask you to enter in this Form) on this project for the United Nations.

Meeting in San Sebastián last week, experts from more than 30 countries discussed ways to fend off attacks against participatory democracy.
