In-Suk Cha studied at New School for Social Research in New York and earned a Doctorate in Philosophy under Eugen Fink at the University of Freiburg in Germany. He helped establish the Asia-Pacific Philosophy Education Network for Democracy (APPEND) as its first chairman. He is co-Editor of the philosophical journal
